Job description / Role
As a User Experience Designer, you will work as part of the Central eCommerce user experience team.You will be responsible for designing user experience solutions for the companies eCommerce products using UX tools and best practices
Responsibility
- Ability to solve complex design problems with appropriate and creative solutions
- Effectively translate ideas into site maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, navigation models etc.
- Produce high-quality wireframes and other documents for desktop, web and mobile devices to illustrate IA, navigation, functionality and interfaces for user interactions
- Ability to focus on the detail while keeping the big picture in mind
- Ability to communicate rationale for design decisions
- Collaborate with other team members from a variety of disciplines (content, visual design etc.)
- Document UX brand standards as required
- Ensure design complies with relevant legal and accessibility guidelines
- Attend briefings and reviews to brainstorm, and provide feedback on business objectives and UX considerations
- Contribute to managing overall costs by minimizing expenses and by finding improved and innovative methods to reduce costs.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a user experience practitioner
- Experience gathering requirements for complex user interfaces
- Designing user experience solutions from concept / initiative to delivery and implementation
- Designing multi-lingual websites, mobile sites and mobile apps
- Expert in wireframing, user flows, IA diagrams, other UX tools like Omnigraffle, Axure, InDesign, Photoshop
