Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working exclusively with an established renowned restaurant group who are looking to hire an Executive Chef to oversee their restaurants in Kuwait.
As Executive Chef you will oversee 3 different concept restaurants in Kuwait from upscale casual to elevated dining, with future growth and expansion plans. You will take full responsibility for all kitchen operations, managing a total team of approximately 70, with 3 Head Chefs direct reporting. You will be very hands on, overseeing all day to day operations, staff training, stock control as well as being involved in further concept and menu development. The 3 current concepts have focuses of fusion meat concept, Arabic and American fusion cuisine.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have experience overseeing a central kitchen with multiple concepts or multiple kitchens. This role requires a strong, driven leader with exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have experience as both a corporate chef and development chef. Due to the scope of the role candidates should have stand-alone restaurant experience.
