A Multinational Real Estate Construction company is actively searching for a new Finance Controller to assist the Group CFO is the development and running of Construction Finance Division in the highly desirable and tax free location of Kuwait. The role will expand to cover subsidiaries in other GCC countries making this a fantastic opportunity to get a wide array of experience.
Heading up the day to day financial activities including; preparation of month end accounts, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, audits and year end statutory accounts for the construction division of the company.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for setting and checking targets and monitoring the performance of each department within the business in line with their set budgets.
Requirements
- 8 -12 year's experience
- Experience in External Audit is essential, from the Big 4 will be preferred
- At least 6 years' experience within the construction industry is essential
- Professional certification required, e.g. CMA, CPA, CA etc.
- Arabic language skills are strongly sought after for this role
- Preference will be given to those in Kuwait currently or recently as local experience is required
- Bachelor's Degree minimum, MBA preferred
