Employment: Full Time

Guide, control and manage Parts & Accessories department operations by:
• Achieving targeted growth and profitability in line with policy guidelines and ensuring cost effectiveness and operational
efficiency
• Overseeing department activities and goals and ensuring their alignment with Al Mulla’s objectives and mission.

Requirements

Strategic
• Prepare short, medium and long-term business plans and budgets of the Parts department to achieve sales and financial goals
• Assign budgets for Parts & Accessories (Parts) department and monitor actual performance against approved budgeted figures and take suitable corrective action, where required, to meet the overall business goals
• Participate in policy and strategic decisions related to identifying new areas for expansion, both product wise (sourcing of non Mitsubishi parts from low cost centers especially for fleet cars) and across geographies and make related recommendations to Top Management on purchase or selling decisions in a proactive manner
• Establish competitive pricing specifications in various categories of parts and accessories while generating sufficient profits and maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Monitor the market trends, potential as well as competitor activities and apprise senior management/ Mitsubishi Motor Corporation.

Operational
• Provide parts and accessories related services to customers ensuring high customer satisfaction and profitable business for Al Mulla
• Work closely with Marketing to ensure effective design and roll-out of all kinds of promotion activities aimed at enhancing brand equity of the Parts function and helping it achieve its revenue targets
• Determine and ensure procurement of allowed levels of parts stock from Mitsubishi based on inputs from reporting managers and reports such as ‘Critical Warnings Reports’ and ‘Review Order Sheets’
• Ensure timely availability of parts for Al Mulla’s external customers (retail, fleet and corporate) as well as internal customer groups such as Service and Al Mulla Rental by monitoring current supply and demand of parts and historical data
• Drive department performance in order to achieve goals on parameters related to finance, volumes, productivity and resource utilization
• Ensure that an appropriate balance is maintained between availability of spare parts and the cost of inventory
• Ensure development of management information systems to track current levels of funds, personnel and material/inventory in the department; monitor these indices on a continual basis and take necessary actions to align them to department performance goals
• Monitor daily and monthly management accounting reports to track financial measures such as profitability and cash flows of the parts department
• Provide Parts personnel with necessary information regarding finalized annual budgets, incentive plans and performance parameters/measures on which their performance shall be appraised
• Take hiring decisions for all personnel related to the Parts department
• Identify individual training needs; provide development inputs on the basis of performance reviews
• Maintain and promote staff motivation in Parts department
• Appraise sales staff on parameters such as individual sales performance, Mystery Shopper and internal audit information and CSI scores obtained from Research department; provide them with development inputs and monitor performance.
