Head of Asset Management - Kuwait

Our client is the investment arm of a leading Middle Eastern bank head-quartered in Kuwait. Focused on investments in the Kuwaiti Stock Market and other GCC countries, advisory, portfolio management and IPO activities.

- Responsible for the company\'s investment portfolios.
- Oversee all professionals managing and monitoring investment activity.
- Design and implement short- and long-term investment policies.
- Drive sales and increase AUMs in line with business targets.
- Manage the development of new and strengthening of new product offerings.

Requirements

- A proven and active network relationships in the Middle East, from which they can successfully garner new investment.
- Outstanding client experience – the ability to understand how investors make decisions; a successful track record at guiding new business opportunities through a decision-making process from origination through to execution.
- Markets and technical expertise: a high level of market practitioner experience which may include experience outside of asset management e.g. investment banking or private banking.
- Comfortable with Sharia’a products and holds an understanding of the broader Islamic finance market and its solutions.
- A strong grasp of broader investment opportunities that our client offers and how they can be successfully marketed to existing and new asset management clientele.
- A strong technical knowledge of, asset management product, the market regionally and internationally and the ability to translate that into sound and successful investment strategy.
- Strong technical background combined with high-quality communication skills and passion for working with clients.
- Experience of on-boarding and maintaining relationships with investors internationally.
- A strong record of business development and experience building business relationships at the most senior levels.
