Head of Merchandising - Debenhams - Kuwait

As the Senior Brand Merchandising Manager for Debenhams, you will provide leadership and direction to Family Division (Menswear, Home & Kids) Brand Managers and support functions, including planning and merchandising. For this role we are looking for more than just a Merchandiser. Your highly developed stakeholder engagement will see you acting in an expert capacity to advise divisional, functional and regional management. You will have the relevant knowledge and experience gained within big name organisations and the leadership ability to make a real impression within this large scale international opportunity.

Your proven ability to build, develop and implement successful business & merchandising plans whilst putting the customer at your focal point will provide you with a solid foundation for this role. As will your strong analytical skills and ability to mentor, build and develop highly effective teams.

Additionally, this role will see you focusing on the following:
* Accountability for Merchandise Planning
* Accountability for OTB and Forward Planning
* Stock Management
* Maximizing sales and margin performance
* Analysing, re-forecasting and reporting on the financial performance.

The role reports directly to the Debenhams Alshaya, Director of Merchandising.
