Health and Safety Specialist - Highway Construction

Job description / Role

A leading Middle East based Engineering consultants are currently working on three large highway construction supervision contracts in Kuwait and as part of that are looking to recruit a Health and Safety specialist.

The role will involve working with the client and the contractor to ensure that a suitable health and safety plan is in place and to monitor it success to ensure that accidents are kept to a minimum and that it meets all necessary local and international health and safety standards.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in a construction or health and safety field and should be able to demonstrate at least 8 years experience in the health and safety industry on large highway construction projects.

Candidates must have worked for engineering consultants and should have experience of supervision of contractors on site.

Candidate should be familiar with all local and international health and safety standards.
