Job description / Role
Our client, one of the leading global manufacturers and providers of products to the construction and mining industries, is looking for an experienced HR professional to Manage their HR Operations in Kuwait.
The role is a new one within the Regional HR Structure and will require a very competent individual to complete the following responsibilities,
- Design and implement strategy for the HR function in relation to recruitment, employee relations, regulatory compliance, compensation and benefits and training and development of the workforce
- Coach and mentor line managers to effectively use the full range of HR tools such as performance measures for employees
- Prepare job descriptions and build a recruitment pipeline plan
- Oversee administrative office staff and maintaining files and central database
- Assist in the preparation of department budgets and expenses
- Manage the Country’s HR issues related to operations
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years experience in a similar capacity
- Bachelor’s Degree/relevant CIPD qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, Arabic is preferable
- Strong working knowledge of the local labour law and regulations
- Excellent team management and reporting skills
