HR Manager - HR & Admin - Kuwait

As HR Manager for the Kuwait market, you will report to the market HRBP and work as part of the team responsible for the HR generalist needs of the 9,500+ strong (store and support) workforce in Kuwait. Maintaining a strong emphasis on Employee Relations, you will partner with key stakeholders such as Operations teams and Divisional HRBP's to assess and anticipate requirements and to deliver value added services.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Coaching line managers on the company's disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes to promote fairness, consistency of approach and employee satisfaction and productivity
* Providing technical expertise and support to employees, supervisors, and managers on employee performance, discipline, supervision, and grievance related issues
* Maximising team efficiency and impact through the development of effective working relationships with key stakeholders at market and corporate office level
* Developing and sharing in-depth knowledge of local legislation and practices
* Providing divisional HRBP's with relevant market feedback.

You will also be expected to deliver relevant HR training to market teams, undertaking store visits in which you will coach and develop staff in the successful implementation of HR processes and practices. You will assist in the mediation and resolution of workplace conflicts, and deliver retention related activities to support the reduction of staff turnover across all staff categories within the Kuwaiti market.

Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to support special projects related to the position, with responsibilities being assigned as appropriate.

Requirements

* A minimum of 5 years' HR generalist experience in a large multi-cultural organisation
* HR degree or professional HR qualifications
* Expertise in human resource disciplines such as employee relations, grievances and performance management
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English essential, Arabic a distinct advantage)
* Strong conflict management, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
