Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

HR Officer - Kuwait

Reporting to the HR Manager, as an HR Officer you would be involved in;

Sourcing, recruitment and selection.
- Scheduling and conducting interviews, acting as a link between candidates and department heads
- Preparing offers and offering candidates
- Preparing recruitment related reports

Career Planning;
- Initiating and monitoring performance management process with the guidance of the HR Manager

HR Support Services - Employee Relations;
- Guide employees in their on-boarding from Offer letter, visa/residency processing, Induction, Rules and Regulations and the Resources available to them, through to their probation period and subsequent confirmation of employment
- Provide an effective employee relations service including advising and participating in disciplinary and grievance and conflict resolution

Training and Development;
- Advise departmental heads in planning the Training for their division and present training and development programs
- Follow up on implementation of training needs based on Performance Appraisals through a quarterly report, identifying all trainings attended and training expenditures against the required budget.

Payroll Process;
- Responsible for the Payroll preparation
- Updating new employees information in the system
- Verifying the End of Service calculations for leavers or transferred employees in accordance with local laws and Group’s
policies and procedures

Daily Personnel Operations;
- Implementing policies and programs concerning Employment, Labor relations, Benefits and entitlement administration, Insurance, health benefits and Employee services
- Approving and overseeing leaves and attendance for all departments
- Conducting and recording exit interviews of resigned employees, communicating significant issues raised when applicable
- Preparing bank statements and salary certificates
- Preparing General reports as required by the HR Manager

Requirements

- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management
- Residing in Kuwait (Only Kuwait residents would be considered for the role)
- Arabic Speaker (Only Arabic speakers would be considered for the role)
- Female candidates (It is preferable that the candidate is a Female)
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- Good computer skills, excel and word
- Diplomatic and patient, must be able to deal with conflicting situations in a reasonable way
- Honest and trustworthy
- Presentable, fitting the grooming standards of a Retail Fashion company
- Able to work under pressure, charismatic and professional
