IT Auditor

Job description / Role

One of the leading banks in Kuwait are looking to hire an IT auditor who will be reporting to the AGM - Head Of IT

Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews the Bank's IT practices, operational functions and records to ensure compliance with established IT internal policies and procedures.
- Documents IT audit work performed along with findings and associated recommendations. Escalates critical exceptions to senior management to determine and remedy risk factors.
- Interacts and follow-up with concerned departments on the agreed action plans to ensure timely execution in an efficient manner.
- Directs, guides and trains junior auditors to fulfill their responsibilities according to expected standards.
- Conducts special investigations as requested by the Head of IT Audit to make sure that possible security incidents are reviewed on timely basis and mitigated.
- Maintains updated knowledge of rules, regulations and standards in the field and related matters of interest to the department.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years experience as an IT Auditor working for banking and financial organisations
- Familiar with local banking practices
- CISA Or COBIT Certified
- Able to translate Arabic Financial Letters
