Job description / Role
The IT Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and advising computer end users. In Charge of resolving daily users’ hardware and Software problems, The IT Support monitors the operation of company’s computer system.
Main responsibilities include;
- To provide proactive support on a daily basis to the back offices users, POS users and office automation product users.( (Level 1)
- Monitoring and maintenance of the hardware.
- Monitoring and maintenance of the software and applications
- Office automation products support.
- Document management for IT dept.
- Patch management for the software.
- Database Management.
- Back up management.
- IT Asset list maintenance and monitoring.
- Conducting IT Training for the users.
- Network monitoring and maintenance
- Telephone Network monitoring and maintenance.
- Processing the purchase of assets which are already budgeted for and approved.
- Assisting in new project implementation in the business unit.
- To deal with Hardware/Software/Office automation/infrastructure Vendors , Software Support Companies/Consultants, POS users , Back office users, Office automation product users, Telecommunication providers and sister companies
Requirements
- Must hold a University degee
- Fluent in English
- Resident of Kuwait
- Excellent Communication skills
- Flexible and team player
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Good Analytical skills
- Ability to deliver with minimal supervision
