Job description / Role
- Reviewing and validating the development of structural spatial 3D model and linear & non-linear structural analysis.
- Reviewing and validating fatigue analysis and evaluations for steel & concrete structures
- Management of Structural design Shop Drawing production to satisfy technical specifications
- Responsible for detail analysis, design and shop drawing for steel structures as well as tensile membrane structures.
- Develop Engineering and BIM department’s responsibility matrix based on the project specifications and company’s standards and maintaining it.
- Performing Engineering Integrated Design coordination, using full BIM implementation, of all disciplines and design subcontractors for preparation of coordinated shop drawings, IFCs
- Working closely with Contract’s manager for monitoring contract scope, monitoring subcontracts and assisting to commercial issues, claim requests, change orders by utilizing BIM database and capabilities
- Deliver estimates in a timely manner from estimating documents (drawings, specifications etc.)
Requirements
Candidate should have good experience in handling high rise & low rise building projects, housing projects,hospital projects, university projects etc.
More preferable candidate from construction, engineering & contracting companies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least total 15 Years experience as Civil Engineer in low/high rise building construction sector
- At least 10 years working as Structural Engineer
- 40-50% career experience must be in Kuwait
- Candidates residing in Kuwait will be an advantage
