Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To continue its ambitious expansion, the company is currently looking for a dynamic Strategic Projects Manager to join its Strategy & Business Development Division.

Role: With great passion for supporting the aggressive growth of the business, you will be responsible for strategic projects and business improvement. This role reports to the Head of Strategic Projects and is based in Kuwait.

Specifically responsibilities include:
* Facilitating annual strategic planning for the overall business and major business units,
* Identifying enterprise strategic needs (and options for developing or acquiring these capabilities)
* Partnering with business units in implementing priority strategic projects of multiple varieties
* Due-diligence of acquisitions
* Partnering with business units in scoping and implementing business analytics tools
* Providing internal business intelligence through actionable analytics.

Requirements

* 4-8 years of experience in corporate strategy, ideally gained within major operating businesses, consulting firms and/or private equity firms
* A top-ranked MBA from a distinguished institution (or equivalent qualification)
* A proven track record of business improvement and strategic planning achievements within global business environments in an advisory or operational capacity
* Relevant knowledge and experience of the retail segment.
* Project management skills
* Solid commercial acumen.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, both in meetings and in giving presentations, who is both highly organised and with great attention to detail. You will be comfortable managing complexity, influencing internal stakeholders and working with tight deadlines.

Arabic language proficiency is not required but would be a plus.
