Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities
• Build long term relationships with vendors in the industry
• Implement innovative and cost effective procurement strategies
• Compare proposals to select best price and quality
• Negotiate with vendors to reduce cost and meet required specifications
• Review contracts and proposals
• Build long term relationships with key suppliers
• Track inventory and supply of materials
• Prepare regular procurement reports
• Manage and control the admin budget
• Manage and organize business trips
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Build organizational procurement capabilities and improve procurement efficiency
• Establish policies and procedures of procurement processes and ensure compliance with related regulations.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years working experience as a Procurement Manager
• Bachelors in Business Administration, Logistics, or similar relevant fields
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Advanced knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
• Excellent planning, organization and task management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to use data analysis tools
• Good MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Skills
• Experience in meeting the demands of supply chain operations is a plus
• The applicant must be in the state of Kuwait with valid transferable visa
