Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Inspect incoming raw materials as per QC procedures and required specifications.
- Perform in-process inspection such as resin to hardener mixing ratio, mandrel preparation, liner application, identification label and marking, oven curing temperature and duration and pipe cutting.
- Conduct dimensions check for the finished pipes/ fittings such as ID,OD, Thickness and Length.
- Conduct Barcol Hardness test for the finished /semi-finished pipes and fittings.
- Conduct dimensions check for the Socket and spigot for pipes and fittings.
- Inspect visually all pipes and fittings for any defects.
- Conduct hydrostatic test inspection for pipes and fittings as per approved ITP.
- Arrange to prepare samples for hoop tensile, axial tensile, pipe stiffness, loss on ignition and glass transition temperature Tg.
- Inspect visually the final product and packing.
- Ensure good housekeeping in the work area.
- Liaise with customer third party inspectors as required.
- Inspect loading of goods for dispatch.
- Identify and report Non Conformances as per Company procedure.
- Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Control Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.
- Maintains record of inspections and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of pipes and fittings.
- Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years experience in GRE/GRP Pipes & Fittings.
- Minimum Diploma
- Working knowledge of measurement instruments.
- Good knowledge of Computers and English Language.
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively with shop and office Personnel.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Standards and work procedures /standards compliance.

Sulaiman Al-Qudaibi Co. for Pro. of Black Steel And Galvanized Profiles, was founded in 1995, and is the only manufacturer of hollow section steel pipes & sheets in Kuwait.

The Technical Company for Kitchen & Laundry Eqp. , was founded in 1982, and is Kuwait's sole agent for several reputable Kitchen & Laundry equipment brands such as Zanussi, Zeyko, Facar, and Primus. Still, more to come.

Sulaiman Al-Qudaibi Co. for Resin Products , was founded in 1996, and was the first to produce Vinyle Ester resins in Kuwait, the Arab Gulf and the Middle East.
