Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Retail Banking Manager is responsible for all retail business of the Bank. He also ensures that the Branch conduct activities within the prescribed policy & procedure guidelines and meets annual targets and objectives pertaining to consumer loans, customer service, and revenue generation

Main Duties
- Responsible for all the business development activities of the Retail Business
- Designs and develops marketing/sales plans & strategies for developing Retail Banking business of the Bank.
- Supervises all activities of the branch’s Direct Sales team, Customer Service Staff and other channels related to selling retail products and services to ensure smooth implementation of all sales plans and targets
- Conduct market research to identify target market segment
- Oversees the development of products and keeps track of competitor products and their pricing
- Evaluates and recommends repackaging of existing products.
- Oversees the customer complaint management and ensure that customer grievances are sorted out expeditiously.
- Conducts customer satisfaction surveys and identifies weakness. Develops action plans to overcome identified weakness.
- Responsible for Relationship Management of retail customers and identifies new markets for product sales.
- Conducting field visits to establish relationships with various government / semi government / private companies in order to attract retail business.
- Establish tie – ups with relevant institution aiming at generating additional revenues and differentiated offering / services
- Recommend and develop promotional campaigns aiming at increasing awareness and attracting more business
- Coordinates with Head office towards any marketing activity in the Kuwait market.
- Member of the Credit Committee for approving potential customer cases related to retail product.
- Ensures adequate Management Information Reports are periodically submitted to the Management to keep them informed on revenue generation, business growth, market share, etc.

Requirements

- University degree with 8 - 10 years of related experience with a minimum of 3 - 5 years in a similar position.
- Needs to be familiar with local laws and regulations.
- High level of Arabic and English interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and oral.
- Developed staff management skills.
- Developed computer skills.
