Senior Business Accounts Manager - Finance - Kuwait

Our multi-disciplined finance teams support and improve business performance while maintaining effective and robust control. We have teams working within our retail divisions; reviewing financial performance, identifying trends, spotting opportunities and supporting business planning and decision making. In our Central Finance Team, business performance is recorded, reported and analysed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Finance staff also play an active role in the review and enhancement of business processes and technology usage.

As Senior Business Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing various Financial and Accounting functions in conjunction with the relevant Controllers/Finance Managers and Management Accountants to drive the financial accounting and planning process and strategic goals of the business. You will ensure that international accounting standards are followed and will provide financial guidance and support through an in depth understanding of business fundamentals, competitive landscape, and implications on current strategy.

Other responsibilities will include:
* Managing Accounting standards, business strategies and financial planning within the region to achieve business objectives
* Assuming accountability for assessing financial results accurately and build models for future performance
* Working in partnership with the Statutory Auditors to ensure all relevant audit requirements, including annual schedules, queries are addressed and completed in a timely manner
* Building and supporting host brand relationships, ensuring the relevant financial activities are undertaken and reported in a timely manner
* Reviewing current processes and systems on an ongoing basis, ensuring enhancements are recommended, analysed and created (if appropriate) and integrated in the business.

Requirements

* 8-12 years' experience in management accounting or financial role preferably within retail or similar business
* Chartered Accountant or CPA
* Accounting/Commercial/Analytical skills
* Management and planning skills.
