Job description / Role
- Planning and managing construction projects at relevant aspects
- Preparing project method statement
- Identify variances between planned and actual progress indicators and propose corrective measures.
- Analysing project change requests for impact on schedule, resource and budget
- Managing, coordinating, controlling of all subcontractors schedule
- Coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Construction team and client representative to address issues.
- Monitoring compliance of project schedules
- Performing the responsibilities using Primavera 6, Microsoft project, Microsoft office and other programs that are recommended by client.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering Disciplines, preferably Civil Engineering
- At least 15 years total experience in construction industry
- Middle East experience in Construction Industry is highly preferred
- Candidate should be based in Kuwait or GCC countries and willing to relocate to Kuwait
- Proven exposure in construction projects such as Housing Estate or high rise and low rise buildings, lead a team in the projects and performance management.
- Strong Software skills such as Primavera, Microsoft Office
- Certification in Primavera 6 would be an advantage
- Strong skills in people management, Communication skills and team work are essential
