Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity exists within a top international consultancy for a Principal Site Electrical Engineer to work on an iconic buildings project in Kuwait.
Working as an integral part of the delivery team providing on-site technical support your role will encompass but not be limited to:
- Carry out regular site inspections
- Ensure that the project is being completed on time and within budget
- Review and monitor the Contractor’s procedures, practices and progress on site
- Review and monitor shop drawings, materials and method statements
- Represent the company at client, supplier and contractors’ meetings
- Prepare technical schedules
- Coordinate work with other members of the team and ensure that all staff are informed of the clients requirements / instructions
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must have a relevant electrical / building services qualification and 10+ years’ experience within a consultancy environment working on large-scale international projects.
Previous design and post contract experience and demonstrable experience of dealing with clients and of managing projects and teams are essential.
