Senior Sybase DBA

Job description / Role

Urgent Vacancy - Senior Sybase DBA – Kuwait. Minimum 10 years exp as a Core Sybase DBA covering ASE, IQ and Replication Servers.

Role:

- Reporting to the Head of IT Core Services you will manage the Banks most important Systems - which is Banks Core Banking Database.

Requirements

We need candidates to have below requirement:

- BS. Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years experience as a Core Sybase DBA covering ASE (min 15.7), IQ and Replication Servers
- Experience in Core Banking Environment (min 3 years )
- Experience working on Database Performance Optimization Tasks.
- Experience in Sybase Multisite Availability Replication.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Team player.
- Good time-management skills.
- Very good command over English spoken and written.
