Job description / Role
Hays Oil & Gas have partnered with a leading International Oilfield Services company were they have an immediate requirement for a Service Technician for GCC based operations.
The successful candidate will perform workshop operations associated with inflatable, swellable packers and downhole tools or other products offered by the client customers and provide on-site services support to customers in the installation and service of downhole tools.
Covering Eqypt, India, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, KSA and UAE
Requirements
- College, technical school or university degree in an engineering discipline preferred
- Minimum of three years related experience in oilfield and applications in an operational role, preferably a lead roles and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Downhole products and procedures is essential
- Must have knowledge of general oilfield hydraulics and calculations
- Experience with well and rig site operations (drilling and workover), pertaining to the installation and commissioning of products and systems
