What we are looking for?
We are currently searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kuwait. The Quantity Surveyor must demonstrate a minimum of 15yrs experience working on building projects in the Middle East.
Our portfolio of live projects includes cultural, healthcare, hospitality and retail projects across the Middle East and North Africa.

What will my responsibilities look like in this role?
• Takes-off quantities from drawings of all materials/works needed for civil, structural, mechanical and architectural works.
• Prepares the Bills of Quantities, descriptions, etc. in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Assists in the preparation of Front-end Documents and Tender Evaluation Reports.
• Prepares of cost plans and estimates at different stages of design.
• Assists in the evaluation of Tender/Bid Documents submitted by the Contractors.
• Prepares of Contract Documents.
• Prepares Cost Analysis on completed projects.
• Writes contractual correspondence and assess and report on contractual disputes.
• Measurement on drawings of all materials/works needed for civil, structural, mechanical and architectural works.
• Prepares the Bills of Quantities either on Excel format or using the QS Elite program.
• Assist in the preparation of other Tender Documents as well as Budget estimates/pricing.
• Assist in the evaluation of Tender/Bid Documents submitted by the Contractors.
• Prepares Cost Analysis on completed projects.
Requirements
What do I need to apply?
• Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying/Engineering
• 15 years previous experience in a similar role.
• Advanced technical writing and communication skills and fluency in the English language.
• Proficiency in Arabic language would be an added advantage.
