Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Field Supervisor is a qualified position that possess the necessary technical and management skills to execute projects/jobs for clients ensuring the adherence to safety, technical and related standards serving clients.

The ultimate objective of the position is to execute projects/jobs in an effective and efficient manner exceeding client expectations and ensuring all regulatory and operational safety and operational standards in each and every project/job.

General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Abides by company by-laws including policies and procedures
- Managing the execution of jobs from preparation to completion and reporting thereof

Job Description:
- Provide effective management of crew and equipment
- Knows and follows safety policies and procedure during Slick line operations
- Performs on-site emergency unit/equipment maintenance
- Trains service operators and assistants / helpers
- Implements approved procedures for rigless and when applicable rig based well intervention operations following client’s Well Operations Standards
- Ensures accurate daily reports of intervention activities covering both technical aspects and costs.
- Minimizes downtime on the intervention operation by efficient use of resources and appropriate application of technology
- Interfaces with operators giving operational input into procedures and work packs and feedback lessons learnt so they can be implemented in future operations
- Interfaces with Logistics and Contractors to ensure all necessary equipment is available in a timely manner
- Makes sure everything is safe and to have safe work habits.
- Be aware of emergency procedure and prepared if any should occur

Supervisory responsibilities include the management and directing of the field jobs and respective crew.

Requirements

Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 5 years experience

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge base and technical skills in petroleum services industry
- Computer literacy and knowledge of analysis and interpretation software
- Strong communicational skills and ability to work in teams
