Employment: Full Time

Role Profile:

The Supply Chain Officer position is responsible for specific planning process for a nominated market(s) at various levels of granularity and time horizons.

The Supply Chain Officer maintains inventory and availability levels by utilising the planning and replenishment system tools available, producing periodic supplier forecasts and completing detailed analysis on information gathered from the supplier base and communicating effectively across through the appropriate channels.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

* Supports the production of inventory and availability updates on weekly basis with appropriate actions
* Provides detailed analysis of Inventory accuracy in the Inventory Management System
* Support the clearance of future expiry items within appropriate country regulations and in line with Alshaya policy
* Reviews integrity of replenishment planning systems and master data ensuring corrective actions are executed
* Supports the creation of all system transactions required to execute replenishment activities within a market
* Build and enhance strong working relationships with key internal teams - Demand Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Cost Control, MDM and Brand Services.

Requirements

Experience:

* Must have minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
* Previous Supply Chain experience preferably in the food industry
* Comprehensive understanding of MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
* Experience of major replenishment planning software solutions such as Oracle, JDA, SAP

* Identify and attempt to resolve any threats to key supply chain objectives (cost, service, inventory, availability) and escalate issues early to line management so that good communication of risks to success can be achieved.
