Job description / Role
Within PwC’s Forensic Services group is a team of specialists dedicated to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime and providing assistance in the resolution of disputes.
Our Corporate Intelligence (“CI”) team is a fast growing practice within PwC’s Forensic Services group. The CI team provides investigative support in cases of fraud, transactions, litigation and other instances where our information gathering is used to both assist in making strategic decisions.
In this position you will have a key role on a portfolio of assignments where you will utilise and further develop your knowledge and skills. The role will give you exposure to high profile and complex assignments. PwC would like to hear from talented prospective applicants for positions within the CI team.
As part of the corporate intelligence team, you will work as a research analyst, delivering assignments such as:
- Integrity due diligence
- Asset tracing
- Fraud investigations
- Strategic threat intelligence
You will be responsible for the life-cycle of each assignment, undertaking the research, analysis of information and reporting to clients.
Requirements
You will be required to demonstrate business level knowledge of the English language when communicating (both written and orally) as well as exhibiting the following knowledge and skills:
- Strong research and analytical skills essential
- Understanding of fraud, bribery, corruption and other compliance issues is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of the Middle East and North Africa region is an advantage
- Self-motivation, confidence and a strong work ethic
- Successful performance within team environments; enjoying being part of a team
- Ability to work and deliver under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Flexibility, adaptability and effective prioritisation skills
- Flexibility to travel and to work at client sites
- Arabic speakers preferred (including the ability to read and write in the Arabic language)
- Strong data handling skills and the ability to gather information and present it in a professional manner
- Strong IT & Microsoft office skills especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Information:
We are looking for enthusiastic, driven graduates who are degree qualified (with a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree). Applicants with studies and/or experience in corporate intelligence, journalism, political science, international relations or law are encouraged to apply. Short-listed applicants will be required to demonstrate their capabilities through a written test.
