Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Formulate, negotiate and manage contracts and agreements of all types in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, customer requirements and sound business judgment.
- Prepare and negotiate non-disclosure, consulting and teaming agreements, as well as subcontracts and draft, develop and implement subcontract terms and conditions and work statements for the construction projects.
- Reviews contract terms, conditions, prices, performance requirements, etc…, for conformity with proposal submission and to ensure they reflect any subsequent negotiations
- Assist all management departments in executing programs
- Interprets, prepares and tracks legal agreements (subcontracts / amendments / change orders) and analyze and interpret legal documents to determine contractual rights and obligations.
- Compile, monitor and maintain administration of the commercial contract and the associated project files
- Analyze client contracts being negotiated, identify risk areas and provide negotiating strategies
- Develop, monitor and maintain contract templates, including legal and commercial terms and conditions, to ensure contract terms are maintained and company interests are protected.\
- Develop and provide negotiating strategies for statement of work for new services and other amendments required to existing client agreements.
- Facilitate responses to the contract term section of Requests for Information for potential clients
- Responsible for client and supplier contract administration ensuring compliance with company policies, ensuring timely renewals / renegotiations and providing required reporting for company compliance.

Requirements

- Ability to apply legal aspects of commercial acquisitions to the contract management function
- Ability to develop solutions to unusual and complex contracting issues
- Ability to research compliance issues, applicable regulations and laws and formulate recommendations to management.
- Thorough knowledge of financial business principles and understanding of applicability to contracts and business
- Strong business acumen with the ability to recognize risk elements in business transactions
- Experience establishing pre-negotiation objectives and negotiations skills to realize objectives
- Proven negotiation skills with ability to define strategies and lead negotiations
- Ability to be an effective member within a team environment with customers and peers.
- Ability to reconcile RFP, program requirements, proposal submittals and resultant contract
- Effective communicator both orally and in writing in Arabic and English; strong analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
