Employment: Full Time

Our client, a multinational Automotive company is seeking to recruit a General Manager to be based in Lebanon

This is a key role in heading the entire business (excluding Body &Paints) within the General Distributors Organization as well as the main decider for the company’s relevant business decision with the company’s Regional Office.

Essential Functions (but not limited to):
- Bears the full responsibility for the planned and agreed sales volume and general Turn over with the realization of the defined company targets as well as market share, marketing and after sales objectives.
- Responsible for the monthly planning of turnovers and sales figures in all the departments of his Division and ensures that the monthly budget figures for each individual department are laid down in an annually updated business plan in which the marketing strategies are defined..
- Analyses the need for investment and submits proposals to management
- Regularly evaluate the key performance indicators and introduces, if necessary, corrective measures in agreement with the management
- Manages the stock level and approves new orders in coordination with the sales Manager
- Determines the regional model, price and communication policy for sales and service based on the directives of the company in agreement with the management and checks these regularly for their suitability.
- Ensures the correct structure for the Sales, Marketing and After Sales Department in line with Company’s Middle East requirements, determines the form of personnel acquisition with their relative Job Descriptions and ensures that there are job training plans available for all the employees in addition to wages, commissions and bonuses.
- Ensures the preparation and maintenance of all required reports and correspondence towards and by the Company in the Middle East.
- Ensures the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date data base(s) on customers and prospects.

Requirements

- BA, MBA, relevant qualification 10-years motor vehicle wholesale and/or retail experience at management level
- Detailed knowledge of the premium automotive industry/segment in the market and Middle East
- Thorough product knowledge
- Good knowledge in the areas Service and Parts
- Marketing knowledge in operative area
- Conceptual, visionary thinking to develop strategies and missions
- Founded commercial comprehension; use of management and control instruments (profit and loss calculations, key performance indicators, balance sheets, sales control system).
