Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the CHRO for the group, you will lead and implement all learning initiatives, interventions and processes necessary working with divisional managers, and business heads to map out the L&D strategy for the business.

- Training plans for group based on best practice and the demands of the business
- Appraisal and performance systems and KPIs
- Reviewing 360 evaluations and integrating performance with talent management & rewards
- Develop & lead a talent management strategy that drives change within the organisational mindset & builds key capabilities
- Liaison with the recruitment team and managers to develop the right attraction strategy for talent
- Map out clear succession plans forth business
- Creating & developing programmes that accelerate organisational growth and boost team performance
- Design, direct and implement employee engagement processes and motivational schemes to foster the groups culture
- Set out a plan for employee retention
- Employee relations activities including managing and developing clear disciplinary, grievances, conflict and conduct policies and processes, monitoring exit data accordingly and taking appropriate actions
- Manage the L&D department budget
- Recruit, train and develop the L&D team members

Requirements

Applicants should be degree educated, ideally within in HR or Business Administration (masters degree is a plus); hold at least 10 years experience within L&D, with regional experience and at very least have multi-country company experience.

Having knowledge of psychometric testing is also a must have, as is being proficient in MS office and HR related software, and fluent in English.
