Internal Audit Specialist

Job description / Role

The Internal Audit Specialist is responsible for executing field work and identifying findings to the Internal Audit team. He/she provides support in order to identify company's risks and suggest recommendations to mitigate them and reduce company's losses.

Key Accountabilities
- Compose comprehensive segments of audit programs and audit reports in line with audit principles and standards.
- Implement audit program reviews and testing in line with audit principles and standards.
- Extract needed data and information on a timely manner throughout the audit field work.
- Prepare list of audit findings and recommendations prior to the issuance of draft audit reports.
- Document factual departmental processes and procedures ensuring to obtain understanding of the business in order to spot control weaknesses and update the database.
- Present solid quantifiable audit findings/report as required based on concrete evidence.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CIA is a major plus.
- 2 to 3 years experience in a related field; IT audit and retail experience are a plus.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
