Oracle DBA

Job description / Role

We are looking for candidates with 2-5 years of hands on experience as Oracle Database Administration (DBA) on Windows platforms .

The day to day responsibilities include but not limited to:
- 24*7 production support and maintenance of Oracle databases , OLTP/VLDB including design and optimization.
- Installation and configuration of Oracle 10g Database on Windows Environment
- Installation, Configuration and Managing Real Application Cluster (10g RAC)
- Setting up Audit Trails
- Setting up profile options.
- Gone through Interface tables SQL Loader control file to transfer data from flat file to vendor interface table.
- Gone through PL/SQL programs to validate and transfer data from vendor interface table to application table.
- Database Design (Physical & Logical) and Development.
- Database Modeling , Database Administration, Performance tuning.
- Backup & Recovery with RMAN , Enterprise Manager (OEM),Database Auditing.
- Advanced Replication, Flashback.
- Must possess knowledge on Oracle Utilities, Datapump, Export/Import, Shell Scripting, SQL Loader under Windows NT,Windows 2000,Windows 2003.
- Implementation and configuration of Oracle Real Application Clusters.
- Implements and enforces security for all of the Oracle DBs.
- Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle Databases.

Requirements

- Candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidate should be self motivated and fast learner.
- Good Knowledge in Oracle .
- Must have ability for critical and analytical thinking.
- Be a good problem detector and solver.
- Ability to operate comfortably in high stress situations.
- Should be able to establish and maintain a professional relationship with the clients and team members.
- Good coordination skills.
- Respect others, active listener, motivated, willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to generate additional revenues to the Department.
