Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for the day-to-day operations and provide leadership, guidance and support for the Immigration department, and to actively strive for service excellence in accordance with service level agreements, client and customer service satisfaction levels.
- Subject Matter Expert on Malaysia Immigration and overall immigration processes across the region. Maintains strong relationships with local authorities to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Take ownership and improve the quality of operational processes and procedures for clients.
- Play a key role in managing the expectations and interactions for all stakeholders in the immigration process in ensuring a successful outcome.
- Support the Director and regional Vice President in implementations.
- Grow and enhance the Immigration Services in region with both corporate clients and consumers.
- Do upmost to ensure adequate staffing levels, delivery of HR programs such as performance appraisals, recruitment, training and development etc.
- Direct, improve and enforce company procedures and practices.
- Monitor overall quality of the services of the company and the local suppliers, providing guidance and coaching as appropriate.
- Maintain and where possible continuously improve the company’s relationship with Clients.-
- Keep track of industry trends and position the immigration processes so that the targets can be reached.
- Keep skills and competencies up to date through professional development. For example GMS etc.
- Take the lead for Asia on new Global Immigration Solution to set up Specialists and work with supply chain to source and manage external suppliers.

Requirements

- Tertiary education with university degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years Immigration experience with proven track record in managing a profitable business portfolio
- Experience in operations at management level is essential
- Has the ability to articulate and implement initiatives into operational success
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Superior oral and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
- Able to remain resilient and positive under pressure
- Proactively implements innovative ways to achieve or surpass customer expectations
