Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project & construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

KEO’s CQS division requires Quantity Surveyors to join the team. KEO are involved with some of the most exciting, challenging and sustainable construction projects currently being undertaken in the Middle East and internationally.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
- Proven experience with major re-measurement and contract administration capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage directing, planning and coordinating the administrative and fiscal aspects of the project.
- Preparation of bill of quantities and progress reports.
- Proven capability in preparing the cost analysis, planning, controlling and value engineering.
- Significant experience in recommending procurement methods for projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration including FIDIC Codes and practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships.

Requirements

- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience.
- Corporate Membership of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors or equivalent is highly preferred.
