We are now seeking an exceptional Deputy Construction Manager to join our award winning team based within our Makkah project.

This critical role will be responsible for overseeing and directing the construction project, reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs and overseeing all onsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Extensive Construction Management experience, including successful project completion and hand-over.
• Significant knowledge and proven leadership experience gained from an engineering consultancy background, having managed construction projects along with a thorough knowledge of project management processes and systems.
• Excellent working knowledge of construction scheduling, costing, contracts and procedures.
• Reviewing and managing the contractor’s progress and preparing progress reports on a monthly basis.
• Reviewing and approving of contractor’s payment requests and issue payment certificates as appropriate.
• Scheduling and chairing site progress meetings.
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships.

Requirements

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years career experience with a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or any other relevant discipline. Masters qualifications will be viewed favourably

Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential.
