JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Amentum is seeking Alternate Site Manager for a position, pending contract award, performing ISS (Installation Support Services) functions at Ali Al Salem base in Kuwait. The Alternate Site Manager will share responsibility with the Site Manager in performing duties outlined below and any other duties as assigned by Site Manager or Program leadership IAW international, US, Air Force, PWS criteria and any other industry standards/criteria.

The Alternate Site Manager shall be available within 12 hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel to discuss problem areas and assume full program responsibility as Site Manager when Site Manager is not in theatre or available.

BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY:

Will share responsibility for the performance of the work of full contract matters relating to the daily operation of this contract including, but not limited to:
- Recreation / Fitness programs
- Learning Resource Center
- Marketing
- Community Activity Center
- Theatre
- Pool Operations
- Lifeguard Services
- Lodging and Linen Exchange
- Maintenance and Lodging Custodial Services
- Water Delivery

- Assist in overseeing all contracted operations and each shall be able to effectively communicate and use technical manuals and references.
- Assist in managing all employees - directly or indirectly - supporting this contract to include, but not limited to, hiring, training, promoting/demoting, implementing performance improvement plans, completing performance evaluations, corrective actions, investigations, and terminations as required IAW all applicable international, US, Air Force, PWS and Amentum laws and company policies.
- Scheduling, work supervision and quality control for all tasks associated with this Task Order.
- Shares responsibility for all documentation and reporting as required and directed by Site Manager and Program leadership.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by Site Manager and Program leadership

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ASM shall be a US National and shall have a minimum of six (6) years of experience related to the requirements and qualifications necessary to manage and perform the tasks outlined in this PWS. The ASM is responsible for meeting Contractor's work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control. The ASM have full authority to act for the Contractor relating to daily contract operation in the absence of the Site Manager.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
- Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide)
- Preferred previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.
- Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.

High School Diploma

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS:

This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
