Head of Strategic Planning – Riyadh
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is a major international construction consultancy. They are currently seeking a Manager to oversee their Strategic Planning Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carrying out portfolio planning processes and methodologies
• Ensuring project registration and managing the initial stages of the Stage-Gate process
• Reviewing and updating the National Guideline for the master planning
• Reviewing and approving the Capital Investment Plan, and ensuring that all projects contribute toward achieving the KPIs
• Working with other departments to develop the capital expenditure for their specialised programmes
• Working with the supply and demand committee, updating their plan regularly
• Integrating client assets and GIS data in one database platform
• Attending coordination meetings with the main developers
Salary:
SAR
50,000 to 57,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering or Urban Planning
• At least 20 years’ experience working on national/international major initiatives and developments
• Demonstrable history of engaging with utility providers and wider commercial and public cluster stakeholders
• Excellent technical knowledge of master and urban planning for major developments, with a thorough understanding of urban and infrastructure planning disciplines
• Expertise in the development of water and wastewater master plans
• Previous experience of working internationally, preferably in the Middle East
