Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee mega projects in the Oil and Gas industry based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and a proven track record in delivering large-scale projects within the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mega projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may impact the project timeline or budget.
- Manage project resources effectively, including allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or queries in a timely manner.
- Conduct project reviews and evaluations to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Prepare and present project reports, including financial performance, to senior management and key stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on managing mega projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and their application within the context of oil and gas projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making in complex project environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
