Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Technical Director to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Liaising with client, developer, consultants and contractors as well as KEO internal construction management and supervision, planning, engineering and design divisions.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships enhancing opportunities and business initiatives.
- Leading the technical effort of projects within the specific discipline and ensure overall technical quality of work.
- Providing advice to project teams and to assist in solving complex issues.
- Demonstrating prior management experience in leading the technical work of project teams, which requires good communication and management skills.
- Overseeing the technical aspects of all projects and to work with the PMs and other disciplines to ensure designs within the discipline are in line with the project scope, standards and regulations, budget and client goals.
- Ensuring that the project design and technical details are carried out to suitable standards for quality as defined in the Project Execution Plan, by taking an active role in the QA/QC procedures for the client within the discipline.
- Responsibility for leadership during the design & construction phase of all projects either directly or indirectly via a detailed review of the CD deliverables for a project.
- Taking a leadership role in large and complex projects, and be responsible for reporting on progress within the discipline to Client and Program Management teams.
- Attending and chairing workshops with consultants and contractors, prepares meeting minutes and follows up to achieve identified actions.
- Advising client on all technical matters pertaining to cost, scope and schedule.
- Ensuring work is conducted with quality assurance protocols.
- Identifies and resolves issues, including management, technical or administrative, to ensure that the project objectives are achieved.
