We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Logistics Officer to Join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in a similar supervisory role. Key qualifications include a strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and regulations, proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, problem-solving and decision-making skills, along with keen attention to detail and accuracy, are essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage all daily freight related requests.
• With carriers and freight forwarders to achieve cost effective solutions for local and international logistics movement
• Strong relationships with logistics suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high service levels.
• Freight quotations and issue purchase orders in line with approved quotations and prior to service engagement.
• And control logistics costs, identify cost-saving opportunities and initiate strategies to reduce expenses without compromising service quality
• Comparisons and analysis of freight costs between multiple forwarders.
• Monthly logistics reports and submit to logistics manager
• Necessary documentation and records related to shipping, receiving and storage.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay informed about changes in legislation affecting logistics and adjust processes accordingly.
• Respond to and resolve logistics issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement practical solutions for logistics challenges, ensuring minimal impact on operations and service.
• Conduct yearly suppliers’ evaluation and compile related reports within the specified deadlines.
• Utilize logistics it systems to optimize procedures, track shipments, and manage data.
• Closely with procurement and warehousing teams to optimize supply chain operations.
• With internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment of logistics with overall business goals. Communicate effectively with management and provide timely updates.
• To learn and adapt to new practices and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all logistics activities.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
