MEP Quantity Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

High profile International Construction Consultancy in Dubai is seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor for commercial package management, cost surveying and contracts administration.

MEP Quantity Surveyor that has at least 8+ years of experience in MEP (all disciplines) particularly on Data Centre’s. Must have experience with pre-contract high level cost planning through to BQ production together with post-contract commercial activities.

Experience with measurement for BQ production under POMI, CESMM 3 and 4 and NRM is preferred.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys their job and has an interest in a fast paced and rewarding environment, must be willing to travel between other emirates, the successful candidate will be reporting the Commercial Director who is based in Abu Dhabi.

Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:

• Cost Reports
• Tender Analysis
• Providing Project Mangers contractual advice
• Managing forecasts & cash flow
• Coordination of Bills of Quants
• Handling all MEP related sub contract matters on site

Salary:
AED 18,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (MRICS is a plus but not essential)
• Clear experience for an MEP Consultancy on Data Projects
• Good understanding of construction methodologies
• Have excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
• Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience in the GCC is essential.
