What you'll be doing

The Regional Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for planning and executing strategies to maximize product visibility, optimize inventory, and drive sales within the retail environment. The Regional Merchandiser, reporting to the General Manager of the Luxury Joint Venture, will be responsible of the good translation of the strategy of the evolved brands.

Key accountabilities:

- Supervise and guarantee a correct implementation of the Brand's merchandising strategy aligned with the overall business goals.
- Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Report Output analysis to the top management and brands to inform merchandising decisions.
- Work closely with each Brand retail merchandising Team and Stores Staffs to curate a product assortment that meets customer demand and aligns with the brand image.
- Monitor product life cycles and recommend the carry-over, NOOS (Never Out Of Stock), markdowns or promotions as needed.
- Ensure effective product placement, maximize sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Analyse sales data and customer feedback to assess the performance of merchandising initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions in collaboration with the referent people in the HQ Brands.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and store management teams to ensure alignment across departments.
- Communicate merchandising strategies and initiatives effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
- Train and develop the store staff on merchandising best practices.
- Conduct regular workshops to enhance the merchandising skills of the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Hold regular meetings with the Store managers to discuss product performance and future opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with merchandising standards, policies, and procedures.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and implement necessary changes to remain compliant.

REQUIREMENTS

What you'll need to succeed

- Proven experience in retail merchandising, with a track record of driving sales through effective product selection and presentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - a natural aptitude for data.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to navigate different stakeholders and teams.
- Proficient in merchandising software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment that is scaling.
- Experience working within a premium/luxury mono-brand.
