Assistant Fund Manager - Equity

Job description / Role

The Client's Asset Management is the leader in fund management business in Oman. They currently have around $1.7b of assets. Their target is to grow this substantially in the next 3 years.

They are seeking to recruit a dynamic and self-motivated individual with experience in managing equities using technical analysis in stocks listed on the MENA stock exchanges.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Assisting in management of MENA portfolios and funds
- Provide calls on the MENA markets and stocks using technical analysis
- Placement of trades in MENA markets
- Develop relationship with the intermediaries in MENA
- Support the business development team in marketing

Requirements

- Very strong technical analysis skills
- Professional degree in finance / accounting (MBA/ CA) is preferred
- Post-qualification experience of 5 to 6 years in similar role
- Experience in managing investments in the MENA region would be an advantage
- Very good written communication skills and presentation skills
- Age max 30 years
