Sales Manager

Job description / Role

A leading producer of Ready-mix and aggregates have an urgent need for a skilled Sales Manager, with sector specific experience, to join their operation, based in Muscat, Oman

To lead sales/marketing function to ensure profit and business growth performance, fulfilling monthly and yearly production targets, understand and apply best in class Health & Safety Standards within the sales department.

Develop and train branch management & sales staff in sales, marketing & customer relations, monitor Companys debt collection performance and ensure that targets for debtor days are met, important customer and business partner interface.

Requirements

- 8 - 10 years of relevant sales experience, 5 of which are in a managerial position.
- Experience with the concrete, cement, aggregates and ready-mix field
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics, requirements and changes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Initiative and enthusiasm
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good IT, budget and report writing skills

Salary
OMR 2,500 - 3,000
