Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading property/real estate developer based in Muscat, Oman is currently looking for Senior Manager Assets to join their growing team. You are responsible to effectively manage the asset management division including Marina, Gulf Course, Retail and Centralised Cooling Facility (CCP) operations and design an effective strategy to achieve the expected results. Reporting to the CFO and you will be responsible for;

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop & Implement Operations and long term Asset Management strategies for all of the asset management components of the company
- Develop & Implement Asset Register and introduce IT solutions for the Asset.
- Oversee the operation of the Golf Course, Marina, CCP and other leisure & entertainment assets.
- Manage the overall asset portfolio of the company.
- Maximize financial returns to the owners of these assets.
- Develop & implement long term leasing strategies for the commercial and retail components.
- Prepare commercial terms and negotiate with potential tenants with an aim of closing lease deals.
- Coordinate with the various parts of the business to ensure smooth completion and handover of these assets.
- Establish good rapport with, operators, tenants, municipality, and other governmental authorities.
- Be able to work in a multicultural team environment.
- Be able to work as team player.
- Develop and pass on knowledge to Omanis.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in business and economics or property management.
- Post graduate degrees in property management or similar fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience in property development and asset management roles..
- A lateral and innovative thinker, an original problem-solver.
- Specialist knowledge of Asset management
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs,
- Self –disciplined, with excellent time management skills, precision and attention to details.
- Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.
- A motivational team-leader focused on managing, coaching and developing the asset management team to achieve their full potential.
