Accountant

Job description / Role

As the Accountant, you will responsible to ensure that the Subsystems and General Ledger Accounts in his area of responsibility are accurate and reconcile. Ensure also that the impacts on the profit and loss relating to his areas of responsibility are correctly reported.

You will be responsible of independently handles external audit queries, preparing and passing regular and more complex Journals: updating records relating to subledgers: reconciling subsystems and prepares GL transfer, investigating and identifies causes of any reconciliation differences, giving comprehensive responses and takes proactive action in closing internal audit queries, Investigating, analysing and explaining movements in Balances / Pand L between different periods, preparing reconciliation of GL accounts in their respective area, preparing reconciliations and determining actions plan to resolve regular occuring differences and preparing all schedules required for the financial statements.

Requirements

You should have minimum 5 years plus with exposure to financial accounting in a large organisation with bachelor degree in business or finance

- Good listening skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good written and spoken Arabic would be an advantage
