Job description / Role
You will be responsible of impending handles external audit queries, preparing and passing regular and more complex journals, updating records relating to subledgers, reconciling subsystems and preparing GL transfer.
Investigating and identifying causes of any reconciliation differences, giving comprehensive responses and taking proactive action in closing internal audit queries, investigating, analysing and explain movements in balances / pand L between different periods, preparing reconciliation of GL accounts in their respective area, preparing reconciliations and determines actions plan to resolve regular occurring differences, preparing all schedules required for the financial statements , providing full supporting to external audit queries within 48 hours of the request, accurately preparing and posting GL entries to meet month end close deadlines, ensuring accurate updating of subledger in respective area, ensuring timely closing of sub-system with all differences vs the Gl explained, timely and accurate reconciliating of General Ledger accounts following month close and preparing financial schedules in line.
Requirements
2 Years plus with exposure to financial accounting in a large Organization or a fresh graduate, Bachelor degree in business or finance.
