Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Assist, in conjunction with Senior Manager-Global Sales, a broad reaching strategy for delivering MICE business to Oman Air.
• Build and package a MICE product that establishes WY as a leading MICE player in the regional market
• Lead the prospecting activity by identifying target companies and events and establishing contacts with key decision makers within those organizations.
• Manage a marketing program that promotes WY's MICE credentials.
• Assist in the negotiation with prospects.
• Manage the administration of CUG codes and booking activities during the build up to MICE events.
• Manage the delivery of WY product to MICE activities during the event.
• Conduct overall group operations including proposal preparation, costing and the management of the delivery of air and land arrangements.
• Conduct thorough financial management for MICE operations to maximize revenue.
• Arrangement of airline reservations, hotels, and other travel related arrangements for MICE customers.
• Plan and conduct site inspections for potential venues for MICE business and serve as tour escort as needed.
• Assist Senior Manager-Global Sales with sales activities and operations.
• Participate in outbound group-incentive sales strategy and outreach
• Develop marketing and promotional materials to promote Oman Air
• Conduct additional business tasks-special projects in addition to above essential functions as needed.
• Assist to develop short- and long-term market development efforts to increase MICE business
• Collaborate with key partners such as airlines, media, government, hoteliers, MICE organizations, event organizers to execute market initiatives to drive business
• Develop new channels to aid development and securing of business events
• Aggressively seek and build new leads database
• Develop a healthy pipeline of new accounts
• Develop comprehensive proposal and pitch to customers
• Service all existing accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 06 years of relevant experience preferably in the Conference, Meeting, and events industry or Event Planning and Management.
• Two Years College Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Specialized certificate / license in the related filed with aviation experience & Secondary School Certificate with 12 years of relevant work experience
