Assistant Product Manager - HONDA - OMASCO - Oman

The position will be responsible to execute various functions related to marketing of HONDA vehicles, Motorcycles and Power Products i.e., initiate order plan, order to principals, preparing L/Cs, documentation for custom clearance, cost build up etc., so as to ensure timely availability of right model mix of products, for sale. Reporting is a major function of the position with emphasis on analysis and forecasts. The position will closely monitor market trends, prices and features to enable right proposals and report analysis.

The position, part of the HONDA Sales team based in Muscat, will report to the Product Manager.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a Graduate in any discipline, preferably Marketing, or a Diploma holder in Marketing, with minimum 5 years of marketing experience in automotive industry. Attention to detail, planning, organizing, analytical and communication skills along with competencies to analyse market trends, plan model mix and make forecast on product sales; generate various PC based reports like cost build up, order plan; understand various rules and regulations of Ministry of Finance, customs, imports and exports, etc., will enable you to be successful in this role.

High PC skills, Finance Management, and skill to learn and apply new knowledge and concepts are also requirements of the position.
