Job description / Role
Our client, an international engineering consultancy, is looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer for a project in Duqm, Oman.
Minimum graduate (Four Year Bachelor) in Civil Engineering.
Requirements
* Minimum 10 years of construction works on marine structures in open seas
* Breakwater construction
* Jetty / wharf / quay wall works
* Dredging and reclamation works
* Infrastructure construction works
* Good knowledge of construction of embankments made out of rock material and rocks
* Minimum 5 years worked as a Resident Inspector or equivalent on major projects either with contractor or with consultant
* Knowledge and experience in quantity surveying
* Knowledge and experience in building construction works
* Good knowledge of contract administration, construction procedures and specifications
* Contract conditions and procedures
* Overall experience after graduation in construction and design field for at least 12 years
