Job description / Role
Looking for a Chief Electrical Engineer with hands on designing experience preferably from a consulting company. The incumbent will be reporting to the Managing Director and will have a team of 8 people (Project Engineers, Civil Engineers etc) reporting to them. Designing experience is a MUST.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in design consultancy firms (Not Contractor)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of Autocad
- Excellent knowledge of Electrical Design calculations software
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills in leading cross-functional teams
- Outstanding communication skills including resolving conflicts and focus on influence
- Must have an excellent professional appearance
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
- Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest
- standard of conduct from self and others
- Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email,
- Web-enabled applications, and database software
- Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Experience in BIM modelling with Revit Software (not mandatory, as plus)
- Prior Middle East experience is very good to have
- Should have decent communication skills.
- Candidates that have previous work experience in Middle east will be an ideal match.
